Kynda’s Creamy Chicken & Cabbage Skillet
One pan • low carb • comfort food
Ingredients
• ½ head cabbage, chopped
• ½–¾ lb shredded rotisserie chicken
• Olive oil
• Salt, pepper, garlic powder
• ½ cup water
• 4 oz cream cheese
• ⅓–½ cup heavy cream
• 3–4 Tbsp sour cream
• ½–¾ cup shredded Colby jack cheese
Instructions
1. Heat a bit of olive oil in an iron skillet over medium heat.
2. Add chopped cabbage and sauté 5–7 minutes.
3. Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
4. Add ½ cup water and top with shredded chicken.
5. Cover and steam until cabbage is tender.
6. Mix chicken and cabbage together.
7. Add cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until smooth.
8. Stir in sour cream.
9. Top with shredded cheese, cover, and let melt.
Serve straight from the skillet.
This is a low-carb dream. Everything here works beautifully together! Want some extra color? Add a bit of purple cabbage while you're chopping the regular cabbage.
